Meet the Supt. - Dorell D. McCroery, Sr.
Supt. Dorell D. McCroery Sr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia to parents, Morris Armstrong Jr. and Mother LaShonda McCroery. It was evident at an early age that the hand of God was upon his life and that there was a special call on his future. At the early age of 8 he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and received the filling of the Holy Ghost at the age of 11. Supt. McCroery is married to the lovely First Lady Calandria M. McCroery for 5 years and blessed with four children Crystalynn, Dorell Jr., Chloe’ (deceased), and Cortnie’.
Supt. McCroery graduated from B. E. Mays High School and attended Year Up Atlanta and Atlanta Metropolitan State College. He also attended of Mid-West Theological Institute in Decatur, Georgia. Supt. McCroery is currently enrolled at True Faith Bible Institute and Seminary located in Riverdale GA where he is pursuing his Bachelors of Pastoral Ministry. Supt. McCroery has been preaching for 12 years since he was 15 years old.
In May 2010, Supt. McCroery established the Impact Empowerment Church which is a proud member of the United Churches of God in Christ in the Ben Hills Neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia by leading weekly Wednesday evening Bible Study.
In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Supt. McCroery serves in the Jurisdiction of Georgia Northeast of the UCOGIC as an Administrative Assistant to Presiding Bishop Aaron B. Lackey Sr. and as a District Superintendent over the Impact Fellowship District. In addition he serves as the Administrator for Development & Implementation for the International Protocol Department and Administrative Assistant to the Bishop of Arbitration & Mediation of UCOGIC.
Supt. McCroery is also known as a great man of integrity and honor. No matter the accolades, he believes that a True Prophetic Ministry has to be birthed out of the apostolic ram. This is seeing, hearing, and speaking into lives which can cause a true deliverance ministry. Which he still believes and stands on today!
